WOW!  tonight we had a great turnout for our first tasting party of 2010.  The team did an amazing job with the theme — the party theme was based on the movie Julie and Julia – so we went a little Parisian:)

We took some photos just because we are so eager to be posting more regularly but Phindy Studios stopped in and took some real pictures ( can’t wait to see those and we will share those later) couldn’t talk Phil or Mindy in to staying and eating with us ( hope you had a great dinner:))

The Enchanted Florist brought the most perfect beautiful forsythia arrangement – thanks, Caprice.

The menu lends itself to a dinner type meal or a cocktail party by varying the portion size, serving container and garnishes.    We served :

Beef Bourguignon

Roasted Suckling Pig

Poached Chicken en Gelee

Beet Farfalle with Aged Balsamic Vinaigrette

Flambed Turned Vegetables

Apple Tarte with Cinnamon Crème Fraiche

Chocolate Almond Cake

Raspberry Bavarian

Far Breton

Orange Cardamom Madeline

Chocolate Crepes with Strawberries

Vanilla Crepes with Pears
